Garden Grove-based House Foods Solar Investment Benefits The Company and the Planet

From OC Metro – Garden Grove-based House Foods America is greening its operations with a $1.65 million solar installation that’s expected to save the tofu-maker about $1.15 million over the course of the system’s lifetime and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 528,000 pounds a year.

“Turning to solar power is pivotal to meeting our company’s environmental goals and delivering long-term customer value,” Shigeru Natake, president of House Foods America Corp., said. “Reducing energy consumption is part of our overall commitment to sustainability.”
