Dec. 6 – Santa Ana residents can enjoy FREE admission to two museums

On the first Sunday of each month, Santa Ana residents with proof of residency (such as drivers license, utility bill, etc.) can enjoy free admission to the Heritage Museum of Orange County and the Bowers Museum.

The Heritage Museum of Orange County is located at 3101 West Harvard Street in Santa Ana.  It is accessible by OCTA Route 47. The Heritage Museum of Orange County is a cultural and natural history center dedicated to preserving, promoting, and restoring the heritage of Orange County and the surrounding region through quality hands-on educational programs for students and visitors of all ages.  The museum is open from 11am – 3pm.

Bowers Museum is located at 2002 North Main Street in Santa Ana.  It is accessible by OCTA Routes 53 and 83.  Bowers Museum is one of California’s finest and Orange County’s largest museums. Bowers offers exhibitions, lectures, art classes, travel programs, children’s art education programs, and other special community programs.  This Sunday, start off the holiday season with the festive music and dance of the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Enjoy traditional foods from around the world, and make unique gifts and ornaments for your family and friends. The museum is open from 10am – 4pm.
